Getting started on the website and in the Mini App

From zero to a working VPN: open your account, get a free trial or a subscription, install an app and connect.

You need two things for the VPN: a subscription in your account and an app on your device. The website account.resetvpn.com (opens in a new tab) and the Telegram Mini App are the same account with almost identical screens.

How to start#

  1. Open your account. On the website, sign in or sign up with email and password, Google or Telegram. To open the Mini App, tap "ResetVPN App" in the @ResetVPN_bot bot — it opens the account linked to your Telegram, or creates one automatically if there isn't one.

  2. Get a subscription. In "Overview", newcomers see a "Getting started" card: if the free trial is available to you, tap "Start for free" (if you've dismissed that card, tap "Activate trial" on the "Try VPN for free" card). To buy, use "Buy subscription" at the top of the page. See Free trial on the website and in the Mini App and Buying a subscription on the website and in the Mini App for details.

  3. Install an app. For Android, Windows and Linux, get the ResetVPN app from resetvpn.com/download (opens in a new tab). There is no ResetVPN app for iPhone, iPad or Mac — the account suggests the INCY app.

  4. Add the subscription to the app. On the subscription card, tap "Connect" — your subscription page opens with instructions for your device. In the ResetVPN app you can simply sign in to the same account instead: your subscriptions appear on their own.

  5. Turn the VPN on in the app. The connected device shows up on the subscription card — the card updates by itself.

"Connect" opens the subscription page in a new tab. On a phone, the main sections are in the bottom bar, the rest is under "More".

Renewing doesn't change the subscription link, so an app you've already set up keeps working.
