Samsung, LG and Apple TV: how to connect
What to do if your TV doesn't run Android TV: a set-top box, a router or a third-party app on Apple TV.
On this page
Samsung (Tizen) and LG (webOS) TVs can't run VPN apps, so they can't be connected directly. There is no ResetVPN app for Apple TV, but a third-party one will do.
Samsung and LG#
There are two ways:
An Android TV box. Plug an Android TV box into the TV and install the ResetVPN app on it — see How to set up Android TV with the ResetVPN app.
A router. With the "Router" plan the VPN works for every device on your home network at once, the TV included — nothing to set up on the TV itself. See How to connect a router.
Apple TV#
You need a third-party App Store app that supports the VLESS Reality protocol and adding a subscription by link. If you're not sure which one to pick, message support — we'll help you choose and set it up.
Install the app on the Apple TV from the App Store. If the app isn't there, check the country or region of your Apple ID — see How to connect an iPhone or iPad.
Add the subscription to it by link. See the tabs below for where to get the link.
Pick a location and turn the VPN on.
"Overview" → your subscription card → the copy icon next to the "Subscription link" field.
In @ResetVPN_bot: "Personal account" → "Manage subscriptions" → your subscription. Tap the link in the message text to copy it.
The "Subs" tab → the copy icon on the subscription card.
Like any TV, an Apple TV is one of your subscription's devices: if the subscription has a device limit, the TV takes a place in it.
Not sure which TV you have#
Message support with your TV model and we'll suggest a way. Support is the "Support" section on the website, in the Mini App and in the ResetVPN app, or the support bot @ResetVPNsupport_bot.
