You can delete your account on the website, account.resetvpn.com (opens in a new tab), or in the ResetVPN app ("Profile" → "Delete account" at the bottom). The Mini App doesn't have this option. The steps below are for the website.

How to delete it#

  1. Open "Settings" and, in the "Delete account" card, click "Delete account". On a phone, "Settings" is under "More" or in the menu under your avatar.

  2. Review what will be deleted and click "Continue". If there's money on your balance and Telegram isn't linked, tick "I understand the balance will be lost and can’t be refunded".

  3. Confirm with your password.

  4. Enter the code from the email and click "Delete for good" or "Schedule deletion" — which one you see depends on whether you have a subscription.

Now or later#

  • No active website subscriptions — the account is deleted right away, for good. With it you lose payment and support history, notifications, account settings, gifts that haven't been redeemed, and referral bonuses and invites.

  • An active website subscription (including one shared with you) — deletion is scheduled for the day the last one ends; for Premium, when its traffic runs out. If there's a date, you'll get a reminder email 3 days before it.

  • You share your subscription with other people — once the account is deleted, they lose access to it, even if the subscription itself stays in the bot.

While deletion is scheduled#

  • Every account page shows a banner with the date and a "Cancel deletion" button. You can also cancel in "Settings" → "Details".

  • Auto-renewal of your website subscriptions is off; cancelling turns it back on.

  • If you renew or buy a subscription, the account isn't deleted on the scheduled day: the request is cancelled and you get an email. A deletion with no date (waiting for Premium traffic to run out) is only postponed by a purchase, not cancelled.

  • If by then your balance has grown beyond the amount you agreed to lose, the request is cancelled too.

Balance and Telegram#

  • Without a linked Telegram, your balance and bonuses are lost with the account and can't be refunded.

  • With Telegram linked, subscriptions and balance stay in the @ResetVPN_bot bot — only the website account is deleted, and those subscriptions don't postpone the deletion.

  • If you've already had a trial or a subscription, signing up again with the same email or Google account won't give you a new trial.

When you can't delete#

  • You have a pending bonus withdrawal request — wait until it's processed.

  • The account was created by the Mini App: it has no email or password of its own, and deletion is confirmed with a password and an email code.

To delete such an account, first sign in to the website with Telegram and set an email and password — see The Telegram Mini App: what it is and how to open it. That account is linked to Telegram, so your subscriptions and balance will stay in the bot.
