Notifications on the website and in the Mini App

Where to find notifications on the website, how to turn on browser push and mute emails by topic, and where Mini App notifications come from.

On this page

On the website, notifications collect under the bell icon in the top bar. Some of them are also sent by email and as push notifications.

The bell#

Click the bell at the top of the page to open the "Notifications" panel:

  • "All" and "Unread" filter the list;

  • the check-mark icon at the top ("Mark all as read") marks everything as read;

  • each notification has "Mark as read" (check mark) and "Dismiss" (bin) icons;

  • the bin icon at the top ("Clear all") → "Clear" deletes every notification — they can't be restored.

Read notifications are kept for 30 days, the rest for 90.

What you get#

  • Subscriptions: expiry coming up, auto-renewal, payment problems, traffic.

  • Payments: money credited.

  • Replies from support.

  • Referral program: new invites, bonuses credited.

  • System: security (email change, TV sign-in), plan changes, service status.

  • News and promotions.

How to set them up#

  1. Open "Settings" → the "Notifications" card. Or click "Notification settings" in the bell panel.

  2. Turn on "Browser push" if you want notifications in this browser. Allow them when the browser asks.

  3. Pick topics. In the "Topics" table each topic has two toggles: "Push" and "Email". The "Push" toggles work once "Browser push" is on, and they also apply to ResetVPN app notifications.

  • "System" can't be turned off — it's marked "Required". It also covers payment confirmations and support replies.

  • A topic turned off in both "Push" and "Email" no longer shows up in the bell either.

  • Emails with verification codes and password reset links always arrive.

  • "Support message sound" plays a quiet chime when support replies, on this device only.

In the Mini App#

The Mini App has no bell and no notification settings: subscription reminders come from the @ResetVPN_bot bot. Support replies appear in "Support", which shows an unread count.

If Telegram is linked to your website account, the bot may also send you subscription reminders.

If something goes wrong#

Push won't turn on

"Turned off in the browser — allow them in site permissions": allow notifications for account.resetvpn.com in your browser settings and switch the toggle on again. "Push notifications aren't supported in this browser" — try another browser.

Emails don't arrive

Check your spam folder and make sure the topic is on in the "Email" column.
