  • Seller — The owner of the Website, Telegram bot and Personal Account, providing Services through the Telegram bot and Personal Account.
  • Services — access to a virtual private network (VPN) based on the VLESS protocol, including internet traffic encryption and routing through the Seller's servers.
  • Telegram bot — software at https://t.me/ResetVPN_bot used for ordering, paying and managing Services.
  • Personal Account — software at https://account.resetvpn.com used for ordering, paying and managing Services.
  • Website — the Seller's internet resource at https://resetvpn.com.

2. General Provisions

  • The Policy governs the use of cookies on the Website and in the Personal Account provided by the Seller.
  • The Policy supplements the Privacy Policy (available on the Website in the «Privacy Policy» section) and is part of the agreement concluded by Accepting the Public Offer Agreement.
  • Data processing related to the use of cookies is carried out in accordance with applicable law.

3. Definition of Cookies

  • Cookies are small text files saved on the User's device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when visiting the Website or Personal Account.
  • Cookies are used to ensure the basic functionality of the Website and Personal Account, including navigation, access to sections and authorization in the Personal Account.

The Personal Account uses the following cookies. Retention is indicated by category: short-term — lasts a few minutes, medium-term — several days, long-term — several months.

  • access-token (httpOnly) — authorization token (short-term). Used for authenticating requests to the server.
  • refresh-token (httpOnly) — refresh token (medium-term). Used for renewing the authorization token.
  • user-data (httpOnly) — User account data in JSON format (medium-term). Used for displaying User information.
  • is-authenticated — authorization status indicator (medium-term). Used for determining authorization status on the client side. Does not contain personal data.

The Website (resetvpn.com) uses the following cookies:

  • lang — interface language setting (long-term). Stores the language of the Website selected by the User. Does not contain personal data.

The Website (resetvpn.com) does not set authorization cookies and does not use cookies for analytics, statistics or advertising. Additionally, browser local storage (localStorage) is used to store user preferences (selected language and theme); this data is stored only on the User's device and is not transmitted to the Seller's servers.

5. Consent to the Use of Cookies

  • Necessary cookies are applied on the basis of contract performance (Public Offer Agreement) and ensuring the functioning of the Website and Personal Account.
  • Separate consent for the use of necessary cookies is not required, as they are mandatory for the operation of the Website and Personal Account.

6. Processing and Storage of Data Collected via Cookies

  • Cookies used for authorization in the Personal Account contain data that allows User identification (access token, refresh token, account data). Processing of such data is carried out in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Other cookies are processed in anonymized form.
  • Purpose of processing:
    • Ensuring stable operation of the Website and Personal Account, including authorization.
  • Data is stored for no more than 12 months from the User's last activity on the Website or in the Personal Account.
  • The User has the right to send a request to delete data related to cookies through the support Telegram bot https://t.me/ResetVPNsupport_bot or by email help@resetvpn.ru.
  • In the event of a refund under the Public Offer Agreement, data related to cookies is stored for the period provided by the legislation of the Russian Federation, after which it is subject to deletion.

    • Deleting previously saved cookies.
    • Setting up notifications about receiving new cookies.

  • The Website and Personal Account do not use third-party services that install their own cookies, except for payment systems specified in the Public Offer Agreement.
  • In the event of implementing third-party services (for example, support service widgets), information about their cookies will be added to the updated version of the Policy.

9. Changes to the Policy

  • The Seller has the right to change the Policy, notifying about this on the Website or in the Personal Account.
  • The current version comes into force from the moment of publication and replaces all previous versions.
  • Continued use of the Website or Personal Account means consent to the new version of the Policy.
