Changing the device limit on the website and in the Mini App
Raising the device limit right away for a surcharge covering the remaining days, lowering it from the next renewal, and cancelling a scheduled decrease.
On this page
You can change the device limit of a "VPN" subscription without buying a new one. An increase applies right away; a decrease takes effect at the next renewal.
How to open it#
In "Overview", on the subscription card, tap the "Devices" tile → "Manage" → "Manage limit". Use the "Device limit" slider to choose the new number. Below it you'll see the current value and the plan maximum.
Raising the limit#
Move the slider up. The amount is: devices added × "Price per device / day" × days left on the subscription. The total is in the "Total" line.
Pay. Enough balance — "Pay from balance", and the limit goes up instantly. Not enough — pick a payment method and tap "Pay … and raise the limit". If bonuses make up the difference, turn on "Add bonuses" and the surcharge is paid from your balance. If even bonuses aren't enough, top up first: paying via a payment provider with bonuses switched on may not raise the limit — the money then stays on your balance.
Promo code discounts don't apply to the device surcharge. Future renewals are priced with the new limit.
Lowering the limit#
Move the slider down and tap "Decrease from next renewal".
Wait for the renewal. Until then the current limit stays, and there's no refund for the current period. The renewal (manual or automatic) is priced at the new limit.
At renewal, devices above the new limit are disconnected automatically — the longest-inactive ones first. This doesn't use up your device removals (3 per 72 hours).
Changed your mind? Open "Manage limit" and tap "Cancel decrease". Raising the limit also cancels a scheduled decrease.
Limits#
Only "VPN" subscriptions have an adjustable limit: Premium allows any number of devices, and "Router" covers the whole network with one router. If the subscription's plan doesn't allow changes, the window says "This plan doesn't have an adjustable device limit".
You can't go below the plan minimum. If some devices are given to participants, you also can't go below that number plus one device for you — the window shows "Can't go below … — … already given to members".
An ended subscription's limit can't be changed: renew it first.
