How to connect a Windows computer
Installing the ResetVPN app on Windows 10 and 11, signing in and connecting.
On this page
There is a ResetVPN app for Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit). You don't need to copy any subscription link into it: sign in to your account and your subscriptions appear on their own.
How to connect#
Download the installer. On resetvpn.com/download (opens in a new tab), click "Download" on the Windows card — you get ResetVPN-Setup.exe.
Run the installer. If Windows shows a warning, click "More info" → "Run anyway". Installing needs administrator rights — confirm the Windows prompt.
Open ResetVPN. The app runs with administrator rights, so Windows asks for permission when it starts — confirm it: without these rights the VPN connection can't be created.
Sign in with the same account you use on the website: email and password, "Continue with Google" or "Continue with Telegram". If you only use the bot, choose Telegram.
Click "Connect".
To keep the VPN running with the window closed, choose "Minimize to tray" the first time you close the app — the ResetVPN icon stays in the tray. If you choose "Close", the app quits and the connection drops.
You can also go without an account: "Continue without an account" → paste your subscription link. In this mode only connecting works. More on the sign-in options: How to sign in to the ResetVPN app.
Using another app#
Any Windows app that supports the VLESS Reality protocol and adding a subscription by link will do. Click "Connect" on your subscription to open the subscription page with instructions, or copy the link and add it to the app as a subscription.
"Overview" → your subscription card: "Connect", or the copy icon next to the "Subscription link" field.
In @ResetVPN_bot: "Personal account" → "Manage subscriptions" → your subscription. "Connect" opens the subscription page; tap the link in the text to copy it.
ResetVPN itself doesn't need the link. For another app, copy it in the "Subs" tab — the copy icon on the subscription card.
If it doesn't work#
It won't start or won't connect
Close other VPN and proxy programs and restart ResetVPN. Errors are explained in detail in ResetVPN on Windows won't start or connect.
No subscriptions after signing in
Make sure you signed in to the account that holds the subscription. Subscriptions from the Telegram bot show up after you sign in with Telegram or link Telegram to your account.
